To ensure a safe and transparent reporting environment, Leapin' Lizard Labels enforces the following whistleblower protections:

  • Commitment to Confidentiality: Information provided will only be shared with individuals directly responsible for the investigation and resolution of the grievance.
  • Consent-Based Disclosure: Stakeholders will be consulted before any identifying information is shared with additional parties outside the core investigation team.
  • Non-Retaliation Assurance: Any act of retaliation will result in strict disciplinary action, up to and including termination.
  • Disciplinary Action for Confidentiality Breaches: Any breaches of confidentiality will result in disciplinary action.

Reporting Channels

Leapin' Lizard Labels provides dedicated channels for external stakeholders, including suppliers, customers, and community members, to report grievances or concerns. We welcome feedback on these mechanisms to ensure they remain accessible and effective for the public.

Stakeholders may report issues directly or anonymously through the following methods:

Our customer success team is responsible for monitoring these channels and implementing improvements based on the feedback received from our external partners and the community.

Grievance Resolution Process:

If any employee or external stakeholder experiences or witnesses conduct that they feel may be in violation of company policy, ethical guidelines, or B Corp certification standards, they should immediately report such actions as follows. All complaints will be promptly and thoroughly investigated.

Reporting & Investigation Procedure for Grievances:

  1. Submission of Grievance: External stakeholders can report grievances or concerns directly to Leapin' Lizard Labels using the 'Contact Us' options available on our website or by emailing the customer success team.
  2.  Acknowledgment: Complaints will be acknowledged within 48 business hours of receipt.
  3. Initial Review: The leadership team will conduct a preliminary review to determine whether the grievance falls within the policy’s scope.
  4.    Investigation: If accepted, an investigator (Leadership, Company President or an assigned neutral party) will conduct relevant interviews, review related documents, and gather necessary evidence in a fair and impartial manner.
  5. Transparency & Process Information: Stakeholders who submit a grievance will receive information about:
  6.    The grounds for accepting a grievance
  7. Steps involved in the grievance resolution process, including targeted deadlines
  8. How a resolution will be facilitated
  9. Regular updates throughout the investigation process, including notification when a resolution is reached.
  10. Confidentiality: Investigations will be conducted discreetly, and information will be kept confidential to the greatest extent possible.
  11. Resolution & Corrective Actions:   Upon concluding the investigation, findings will be documented, and corrective actions will be implemented, if necessary. Possible outcomes include policy changes, disciplinary measures, or other resolutions. If a grievance is not accepted, a clear written rationale as to why it was rejected and, where possible, suggested alternative avenues, will be provided.
  12. Final Communication & Closure: The complainant will receive a final summary of the investigation results and any corrective actions taken.
  13. Appeals Process: If the complainant is unsatisfied with the resolution, they may escalate the issue to the President, Todd Boyt or Management
  14. Post-Resolution Monitoring: We perform follow-up evaluations to ensure that any agreed-upon corrective actions are effectively maintained.

Continuous Improvement to Grievances:

Leapin' Lizard Labels is committed to continually evaluating and improving its grievance and whistleblower protection policies. Stakeholder feedback and benchmarking against best practices, such as those outlined in the UN Guiding Principles on Business & Human Rights will inform future updates.
