Everything has a second life at Leapin' Lizard Labels! We recycle our backing for packaging and shipping, compost our food scraps, use paper goods made from recycled materials, and repurpose our shredded paper scraps for the Northern Colorado Herpetological Society to be used for amphibian bedding!

All things are eventually returned to the earth, so we're committed to using high-quality products that won't hurt the environment when they're disposed of. We use water-based inks that naturally biodegrade, as well as paper products that are perfect for recycling.
We Give Back to the Community
We like to keep Fort Collins, and all of Colorado, clean! We routinely participate in community clean-up challenges and work with state parks to build and maintain trails. Who knows, next time you go hiking, you might end up on a trail we created with the help of partners like you!

We do our best to offer as many environmentally friendly options as possible. We are also involved with many industry leaders to continue to give back. And in our day-to-day operations, we are involved in making small but impactful movements to further our commitment to sustainability.
Have you ever thought about what it really means to be eco-friendly? We sure have, and we are doing the best we can to be eco-friendly. Did you know that the printing industry can be pretty tough on Mother Nature? Yeah, it’s true. Unfortunately, the industry as a whole needs to develop better technology with more innovative solutions when it comes to printing labels and being more environmentally considerate overall. Don’t get us wrong. There are some really awesome ideas out there like hemp labels and FSC paper products (cool, right?), but it’s just been a slower process than we’d like.
But, this doesn’t stop us from doing our best when it comes to being eco-friendly.
For us, awareness and transparency are key ingredients when it comes to our eco-friendly approach and goals. We believe that every action counts, even the smallest ones. Inch by inch we are moving the dial to become more environmentally friendly. Our mindset helps us jumpstart how we think, respond, and take action to become green within our Leapin’ culture and community. Starting with setting some serious goals and partnering with organizations that are making a huge impact in our backyard and around the world.
